Choose from either The Surf Bungalow or The Sun Bungalow both newly renovated in late 2006. Each bungalow has all the comforts of home featuring overstuffed sleepers sofas and queen-sized, pillow-top stress-o-pedic beds dressed in luxury linens and down. The kitchens furnish all the essentials to inspire the chef in you. At the end of the day, relax in the your private Jacuzzi tub after enjoying your fun in the sun at the beach. Enjoy our complimentary, hand-made soaps in the bathroom. The outdoor barbeque and fenced courtyard is the perfect spot to gather and enjoy the evening sea breeze or morning coffee. Energizing your spirit and soothing your soul is our goal at Brighton Beach Bungalows. The town of Ocean Beach was laid out and named in 1888. It is the ultimate beach town and offers visitors many fine ways to spend the day. Swimming, surfing, body surfing, tanning, kite flying, tide pools, fishing, sailing, water-skiing, jet skiing, snorkeling, kayaking, bonfires, star gazing and sunset watching are a few activities Ocean Beach has to offer. Our claim to fame is the fishing pier just a couple of blocks to the south. At 1,971 feet, the Ocean Beach Pier is supposed to be the longest concrete pier in the world. It has a T-shape at the end extending 360 feet to the south and 193 feet to the north end. The south end extends into the Point Loma kelp beds and has a view of the tide pools and Sunset cliffs. A perfect spot to watch sea life or the sun fade into the ocean.
