The house was updated with new furniture, linens and WIFI in 2006 and is constantly being checked and improved on by the owners and efficient house keeping staff. If you need more sleeping accommodations or desire to have your own private cove, our guest studio with a queen sized bed located across the street may be rented separately or in conjunction with Honu Kai. Property # 2 Guest Studio Location: Kapoho, Puna District, Big Island, Hawaii, USA Accommodations: House, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath (Sleeps 2) HULA COVE is a studio cottage located on a semi private cove at the very end of the famous Kapoho tide pools. The cottage was built in the 1970s so close to the water that no changes can be made to the house's foot print without moving the house back 20 feet from the water's edge. This is as close as one can get to the water's edge without being on a boat!
