New Smyrna Beach is close enough to all the Central Florida attractions, Disney, Sea World, Universal Studios, Water Parks. They are all about one hour drive away. St Augustine, Cape Canaveral, Canaveral National Seashore (at your back door), Bok Tower, Turtle Mound, Silver Springs, Daytona Speedway (half hour away), Live theatre in New Smyrna, a variety of golf courses, plus an endless number of things to fill your leisure hours. Our small town has a wonderful variety of good restaurants. Shopping in our unique stores is always a pleasure. This is an active community with lots going on. The 2nd Saturday each month is the 'Old Car Show' on Main St, there's Concerts in the park, Festivals, Art fairs..... Daytona Beach is just north of New Smyrna Beach, just across Ponce Inlet. You can also take the ferry across from New Smyrna Beach to Ponce Inlet. Spend the day there enjoying the sights and take the ferry back. Something Different: In today's fast paced, impersonal world we tried to create an environment where our guests can feel comfortable and relaxed. No doors slamming at all hours of the day and night, no listening to the elephants walking over your head, no unattended children running around. Just a quiet peaceful place to relax and enjoy the beach environment. The construction and lay-out of the building is such that the villas are quiet and private. Everyone has their own 'space'. Families come to spend quality time together in a nice 'family' environment. Central Beach Area: We are located in what is called the Central Beach Area consisting of people that live here full time and a few smaller condo complexes. It's close to both bridges and Flagler Ave. Flagler Ave is the Beach side down town area with quaint shops and restaurants. A pleasant bike ride away or short distance via car. Our Mainland down town area is just over the bridge and a few blocks to the right. Another good place to enjoy browsing through shops or have a bite to eat. East Wind is surrounded by that old fashioned neighborhood of times past where you can take a walk and meet friendly people. We are located at one end of the block with a row of residential homes between the ocean and us. At the other end is Saxon Dr. If you stroll along the path beside Saxon in one direction it will take you on a nice nature walk along the tree-lined road and through the nature trail. Go in the other direction and it's a pleasant walk to an area with shops, restaurants and the grocery store.
