If you request a single Friday or Saturday night, we require a 30% premium. But, please call us as we are able to waive the extra charge on some weekends.Our midweek business rate requires single occupancy. All other rates are double occupancy. Additional occupants (with advance notice) are charged $30 per person. Our rates include a sumptuous breakfast but do not include the 8% NH Room & Meals Tax.We require a one-night deposit to guarantee a reservation and the balance is due before check-out. We accept all major credit cards, travelers checks, personal checks and cash. We have billing arrangements with Dartmouth College, the Mary Hitchcock Medical Center, and many of the local businesses. We accept Government Rate reservations. Check- in is between 3:00 and 10:00 PM. Please arrange to check-out by 11:00 am. Smoking is not permitted within the house. We do not accept guest pets in the main house as we have two dogs and three cats of our own. Under some circumstances we can allow pets in our Guest Cottage. Due to the high incidence of pet allergies, we do not allow our pets into the B&B side of the house. Our pets stay on the family side and you are welcome to visit with them if you wish. The Ranch is an excellent "doggy daycare and spa" just two miles away that offers boarding options.

In addition to exceptionally comfortable beds, each room has cable TV, VCR and DVD players, high speed wireless internet, a generous desk area, radio/alarm clock, and access to iron and ironing board. We maintain a library of DVDs and VHS tapes in the living room for our guests to enjoy, as well as books of local interest. Cordless phones are on every floor. Coffee is available downstairs, because our Bunn Coffeemaker makes coffee so much better than those little coffee makers found in most hotel rooms. We are always happy to brew a fresh pot for you.Bathrooms are luxuriously appointed with the fluffiest of towels and bath mats. Soaps, conditioning shampoo and lotion are delicately scented. Hairdryers are available in every room. And, if you arrive without a necessary toiletry item we will be happy to provide it.Many people open their windows at night to enjoy the fresh New Hampshire air, the sound of the babbling Mink Brook across the street, and the sound of the peepers (tiny frogs) in the spring. During the summer we add room air conditioners, although they’re rarely needed. In the winter you can enjoy a toasty fire in the living room before heading up to your cozy room, most of which have their own heat control.In the morning, come down to enjoy a sumptuous breakfast as the best start to a fabulous day!If you are visiting midweek and the room you would prefer appears to be booked, please call us! Because we assign rooms to our mid-week single occupancy business guests, we usually have the flexibility to accommodate specific regular rate room requests.
