Buddy Ebsen is better known as "Jed Clampett on the "Beverly Hillbillys. Ebsen Summer Home is unique it still has the old bead board on the ceiling and walls that take you back to a quieter simpler time. The walls give warmth and a very homey feelin that says I have arrived to peace and quiet, and the fireplace is rocked with Carolina Granite it is an added feature to this sitting room with gas logs, can't you just hear the crackling of the fireplace and the warmth on a crisp fall morning. But now it is Spring time enjoy the grounds with walking trails out back of the Bungalow home with the pink dogwoods, bridal wreath in full bloom, daffodils, purple thrift, yes the Burning Bush that grows beside the deck in the back yard. The Front porch is a quiet place to read a book or just watch the sun go down behind the beautiful Smoky Mountains after a day of excursions to just put up your feet and rest or even the back deck.
