Nestled in a beautiful nature preserve, a short stroll down the boardwalk to the shore of Goshorn Lake, Roadside Marker Vacation Cabin is part of the charming and serene vacation community known as Kingfisher Cove. Just minutes from the Saugatuck Dunes State Park and some of the most pristine beaches in the world on Lake Michigan.

Amenities Air Conditioning Washer Dryer Linens Provided: While bed sheets and kitchen towels are provided, we do NOT provide bath towels. Please remember to bring your own. Off Street Parking: There is a parking area in front of the cabin. The Home Owners Assn of Kingfisher Cove only allows 2 cars per cabin. If additional parking is needed, please contact us. Wood Fireplace: Our favorite feature of the cabin! Firewood is provided, but as it's kept outside, not always dry - good idea to bring along a starter bundle, just in case. Beds Queen Bed Twin/Single Bed Bunk Bed: Lower bunk is queen size, with upper bunk twin. Convertible Bed: In the sleeping loft, it's a queen sized sleeper sofa. Bonus: it's by the television! It's wonderfully comfortable! Great for cozying up and catching a late night show. Crib: Not a "crib" per-se, but a fold away pen that has doubled as a crib for the wee ones. It's located in the upper bedroom closet, and is fully portable. Entertainment Cable/Satellite TV: Basic cable with On-Demand options. DVD CD Player Stereo System Jetted Tub in Bath: Upstairs master bath has a wonderful jetted soaking tub. Private Hot Tub: All-season! Located on the screened in back porch and completely private. Shared Pool: Steps from the front door. Seasonal. Kitchen Full Kitchen: Everything you need and more! Oven, range (electric), dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, cooking and baking utensils, microwave, blender, hand-mixer, coffee maker with coffee cups to spare! Cooking Utensils Provided: Everything you could possibly need. We've even prepared a Thanksgiving Feast in this kitchen. Refrigerator: Side by side, with ice maker and water dispenser. Dishwasher Microwave Ice Maker Catering Available: We work with local producers to create lovely sampler trays, delivered soon after your arrival. Including locally produced artisan breads and baked goods, jams, coffees, desserts and wines. Availability varies depending on season. Prices start at $25 per person. Outdoor Features Gas/Electric BBQ Grill: Located outside on the stone patio, near the fire pit. Deck/Patio: With firepit and gas grill. There are chairs that shuttle between the screened in back porch and the outside patio. View/Location Lake View: A short stroll down the boardwalk brings you to our pier at Goshorn Lake. Seasonal for launching of no wake boats (canoes, rowboats - not provided) for fishing or just floating about and enjoying the wildlife. Communications Telephone WiFi (Wireless Internet): Bring your laptop and don't miss a single email. Other Amenities Plenty of board games can be found in the cabinet next to the fireplace. Great after dinner fun for everyone. You're also just a couple of minutes from downtown Saugatuck, with galleries, restaurants and shopping, and a hop, skip and a jump away from Saugatuck Dunes State Park with great hiking, unmanicured cross country ski trails and amazing beaches. Suitability No Pets Allowed Kid Friendly: Kids love this place, with it's big log beds and porches, games and cozy atmosphere. It's a good place for the kid in all of us. Minimum Age Limit for Renters: Although all ages are welcome you must be at least 25 to rent this cabin. Smoking Not Allowed: There are ash cans provided on both the front and back porches. But please, no smoking indoors.
