Designed to be as comfortable as home yet different enough so that you feel like you are 'away'. The house boasts tongue and groove hand -rubbed cedar walls, beautiful spalted maple floors that were milled from a single tree. There are 3 gas heating-stoves for wood fire like ambiance. There are incredible views of the sunset over the river from the main room with its 25 foot ceilings as well as from the loft bedroom and the 550 sq. foot deck. The custom built kitchen has a 6 burner stove, and 20 feet of polished concrete counter tops.Special Offers:

The master bathroom is truly a work of art -- my father and I took a lot of pride it its design and construction. It boasts a huge, two shower-head shower with tile walls and a custom poured concrete base and a window (in the shower) that looks out at the water. The room has two huge skylights. The floor is acid stained slate. A custom concrete countertop made by the owners. The first floor half bath has cedar walls, an oak ceiling, and a custom maple sink made from the same tree as the dining room table and the first floor. The basement bath is luxurious with high ceilings, cedar walls, and a blue tiled shower. The basement bedroom is spacious with a double bed, closet, and shelves. Though we only have two 'official' bedrooms, there are tons of couches, pull outs, and futons in both living room areas. We have used the house as an old style cabin -- and have had no complaints about sleeping arrangements.
