We are close enough, in winter, to walk or pick up the free shuttle, that stops outside the door, to the lifts of Snow Summit. The lake is a short drive, as well as restaurants and shopping! We just added FREE High speed internet (WiFi DSL)! The entire cabin is decorated in a northwoods theme and the master Suite features a queen Bed, the second bedroom/loft has a queen plus two twins with skylights. For your convenience, there is a Washer and Dryer in the unit. In the evening how about a BBQ and afterwards relax beside the river rock fireplace while watching a movie! All the activities you're looking for are adjacent or nearby. The lake is less than 1 mile. Snow Summit ski resort and summer sky chair are right next door...you can walk it in ski boots!
