Location: Mexico, Mexican Riviera, Nayarit, Bucerias Accommodations: 1 Bedroom 1 Bathroom, Condo BUCERIAS is located 20 km. north of Puerto Vallarta, on the Bahia de Banderas on the Pacific coast. This luxury beachfront one-bedroom penthouse apartment is just steps from the ocean and two blocks from the town square. In Bucerias you can enjoy living within a small local community while experiencing the luxurious amenities of the Punta Arena property. Condominium Punta Arena was completed in April 2008. The property consists of 30 privately owned units within a gated and secure complex, parking and 24 hour security. The shared areas offer a large infinity pool overlooking Banderas Bay, lounge area, shared BBQ, poolside showers, a restroom, two stairways to access the beach and a fitness center with a view of the bay. Our rooftop apartment, which sleeps two, offers 2300 square feet of marble floor which includes a kitchenette, bedroom, bath, atrium, a palapa (woven palm leaves) roof covering the outdoor living area, and an 18’ x 60’ terrace with your own infinity plunge pool with Jacuzzi jets. Bucerias, “Place of the Divers”, is still very much a small, old fashioned Mexican town with lots of personality and friendly people, while catering o our more modern needs of super markets, emergency services and restaurants. Within a two to ten minute walk you may enjoy wonderful casual and fine dining, neighborhood stores with fresh fruits and vegetables, and the town square market with Mexican handi-crafts. We have lived in the area for seven years and in Punta Arena since its opening. After experiencing life in Bucerias we would not live anyplace else.
