It was originally developed in the 1930’s as a coffee farm. As a center of community life, this property included a family-run general store. Japanese movies were shown in the garage to homestead families and friends. The strength and resourcefulness of this family have inspired those who followed. Even now, their children and grandchildren continue to return to the home to find rest and to remember.
