Secure, underground parking included. Activities And Attractions In Daytona Beach Atlantic Coast CentralFirst - the beach. This part of Daytona's famous beach is seldom busy. There aren't any hotels near the condo, so the throngs of weekly vacationers that fill the beaches are at least a mile or 2 north or south of the condo. There is a grocery store and Walgreens practically across the street and good restaurants are a short drive away. A 13-hole par three golf course is just across the street ($12 greens fee, I recall) and, as a resident of Oceans Eight, you are able to play there. Tennis and shuffleboard are just across the street, too. The building association organizes activities such as bridge tournaments and socials - if you want to participate it's totally optional. Fishing! Surf casting is a lot of fun and great fishing exists anywhere on the beach. There are many other activities available in the area - with enough variety to suit any taste.
