The grounds in which the cabins of La Mansión del Patrón are located were formerly a family State, used largely for weekends and holidays and frequently for entertaining large groups in the traditional Fiestas, weddings and so fort… traditions that we are very proud to keep, up to this days and will be very happy to include you in your visit. Pátzcuaro has been recognized worldwide as one of the best ‘Magic Towns’ in México for several reasons, including its cultural and architectural richness. In the surrounding areas you can visit the shore towns of Erongarícuaro, Quiroga and Tzintzuntzan, the marvelous lake of Pátzcuaro and the Janitzio island. Also close by are the town and lake of Zirahuén, very impressive for its culture, traditions and beauty. All of this, the ancient archeological sites, the wonderful colonial churches and buildings, the big and unique Central Plaza and more, makes Pátzcuaro a place to discover and enjoy. From a terrace very near La Mansión del Patrón, you will be able to appreciate the island of Janitzio and in the premises enjoy a wonderful stay in a natural environment, surrounded by a variety of fruit trees and wonderful gardens.
