Really - you don't have to drive anywhere. Walk out your back door and take the hike of your life, you will come across every type of terrain, views that are absolutely stunning know matter which way you look. This area is a gated community, with a lake which you are welcome to hike around (but only owners can fish in it - sorry). Cabin sits on 5 acres. It is just West of either Denver or Colorado Springs. From Denver take Hwy 285 West, from Colorado Springs - take Hwy 24 West. Probably just over an hours drive. The Tarryall Reservoir is approximately 15 -20 miles down the road - do some serious fishing. And if you like the ski area - we are probably just over an hour - head to Fairplay and over Hoosier pass and you will land in Breckenridge.
