Beautiful Three Level Home with Ocean View Location: La Manzanilla, Jalisco, Mexican Riviera, Mexico (Easy 50 Min Drive from International Airport in Manzanillo) Accommodations: House, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s) (Sleeps 4-5), 1.5 Baths This beautiful and architecturally interesting home sits on a peaceful hillside just 10 minutes walk to the center of the sleepy fishing village of La Manzanilla with its family friendly beach on Tenecatita Bay. There are two entrances to the home from the front and back lanes and a large, secured off-the-street parking area and illuminated walkways. The house features a uniquely patterned tile floor throughout, painting details on the walls by a local artist and an open fully equipped kitchen. The dining area has a massive table made from slices of a huge tree and the central pillar between dining and sitting areas functions as an illuminated fountain so you may enjoy the soothing sound of water as you dine or relax in the well appointed sitting area in furniture crafted by Mexican artisans. There is a large ornate glass folding door that opens off the sitting area to allow full access to a balcony overlooking the large yard. Full time maid service is available (at extra local charge) and a gardener is on the job to care for the lovely yard with its many beautiful plants and trees.On the open third floor is a large palapa for shade where you can relax in hammocks or dine at a small table while watching the lovely sunsets over Tenecatita Bay. On the bottom floor is the air conditioned master bedroom with queen sized bed and a large second bedroom with two twin beds. A third bed is available by using the new futon located just inside the entry. The master bath features a new and interesting shower and surrounding mirrors on all walls. There are always several there to be seen. There is wonderful (and safe) kayaking in other near-bye mangroves as well as in the bays. Several beautiful golf courses are available and fishing is good. In near bye locations you will find a turtle sanctuary, good snorkeling, a great array of good restaurants in towns and on the beaches. Also fine stores for buying fresh seafood, fruit and vegitables. There are several businesses that will arrange scuba diving trips, mountain biking adventures and other outdoor activities.
