Only 1 1/2 miles to the Sugarbush Resort, the lodge is nestled in a secluded 7-acre wooded setting at the end of a private road. This newly renovated and expanded home features the finest in finishes and fixtures, including: marble and soapstone in kitchen and baths, natural wood finishes throughout, top-of-the-line appliances, custom cabinets, bookcases, and light fixtures. The first floor features a tree-lined entry hall and beautiful three-story atrium hung with antique quilts. The living room has a raised-hearth fieldstone fireplace in one corner, and a Vermont Castings wood stove on a matching fieldstone hearth in the other. Double French doors open to an over-sized deck. A wet bar offers cold and boiling water at a copper sink. The first floor also has a full bath with an exquisite marble boulder sink and marble shower.The dining room seats 14 at the architect-designed custom dining table, lit by a flight-of-fancy hand-crafted ceiling fixture with hand blown glass. The Sellers-designed artisan-crafted king size bed is built from local maple trees. The bathroom features stunning Vermont marble slabs in the steamroom, shower and vanity, and hand blown glass sinks. In a private hidden corner in the bedroom there is an oversize Jacuzzi tub. The bedroom has its own cable TV/VCR.Second floor guest bedrooms (two king sized beds, two pairs of twin sized beds) have mountain-scene wainscotting and custom wall finishes. The guest bath features a soaring ceiling and Vermont marble. There is an additional 1/2 bath located at the end of the hallway. The top level has a special fully private loft (pair of twins) with a Sellers-created etched-glass half-wall window, and a final bedroom with treetop views (double).
