Hello Travelers and vacationers!! Welcome to a Roatan Island Hideaway. We would like to invite you to our piece of paradise to spend your time on Roatan in clean, comfortable and spacious accommodations. All our rooms, apartments and the 4-bedroom cabana house are on the white sand beachfront inside the Roatan Marine Preserve boundaries. Our area in Sandy Bay is known as the head of the beach; here you can enjoy a quiet, relaxing vacation. All accommodations have a direct view of the reef. You literally step outside your front door patio and experience an unspoiled, undeveloped beach to yourself. No crowds of tourism, no condominiums are here just a private tranquil area. We are secluded but only meters within walking distance to the main road. Area attractions, major supermarkets, banks, ATM’s souvenir shops, they are only a short ride.. Popular West End is only four miles along the main road to the west. Inexpensive transportation is available by taxi ($2.00) or by shuttle bus ($0.75). All your needs can be found close by in Coxen Hole to the east only 4 miles. Our apartments are air conditioned with spacious rooms, full size kitchens, refrigerator, coffee pot, (Free coffee provided), microwave, stove, and blender toaster, completely equipped. Bathrooms are large with hot/cold-pressurized water. Apartments have Cable T.V., DVD players and Internet connections are free in your rental. We provide you free use of a cell phone to communicate with family or business needs. Phone cards are purchased inexpensively for local and long distance calls. A continental breakfast is provided for your stay. During the morning a full breakfast menu is available. Our cooks at the Sunshine Café also prepare homemade Banana bread and fresh fruit. The Sunshine Café and Bar is located on the premises on the beach and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.. The restaurant serves inexpensive excellent seafood platters, lobster, shrimp and conch specialty dishes and steaks Lunch menu there are fresh island fish sandwiches, big burgers, and pizzas and more. Try a local Baleada for only $3.00. Dinner brings soft island music Honduran seafood platters and many more surprises. The bar serves ice-cold beer and specialty tropical drinks. Try a Monkey La La, which tastes like ice cream in a glass but so dangerous with the relaxing zing of local rums... Just one may do! At the bar popular with locals, you will meet patrons who live on Roatan Our extensive network of people can guide you on real estate investments and give island viewpoints, not salesman; you will get island advice about living in paradise. We can assist you to arrange island tours, diving certifications, dive excursions, see island attractions, fishing charters and other activities at more reasonable prices than the high cost of tourist areas on the island. On our beachfront there exists a pier that extends into the Roatan Marine preserve. From the dock one can just lay back in hammocks sipping cocktails in the ocean breezes. Relax and watch the day go by! The upper level can be used for private sunbathing. Each night either from the restaurant, beach or pier you can view spectacular sunsets. Have you observed the green flash just as the sunsets? At nighttime the end of the pier provides an excellent opportunity to catch a wide variety of fish... We can cook your catch from your fishing excursions or our charters. There are many activities just for relaxing or for the most active tourist. As one walks down the beach shells can be found. At the end is a large lagoon... Kayaks can be rented to guide you through the mangroves waterways or to view the crystal clear waters of the reef. The mangrove waterways lead to fishing flats areas excellent for bone fishing.Bring you fly rod and we’ll point you in the right direction to our secret fishing holes. One of highlights of your stay with us will be snorkeling to the reef. Snorkeling is unsurpassed in the Roatan Marine preserve Just a short swim from the pier where you will swim with large schools of fish, abundant colorful marine tropical, turtles, lobster and beautiful varieties of hard and soft corals. Sandy Bay boosts of a breath taking marine aquarium in your front yard. Don’t be timid, No Sharks.. Your snorkeling equipment is included with your rental for free with your stay
